Today we did a demo on how to give a rhino lepard skin these are the two images below that we started with
We started by putting the image of the lepard over the rhino and to cover any patches that the lepard did not cover we used a filer called liquify which helped us stretch out to cover any small patches that we did not reach, we then uped the opacsity and set the image of the lepard to overlay which helped blend it into the skin of the rhino, we then erased any bits we didnt need with the mask painting over it in black, we then played with the opacsity again till we could clearly see that it was a rhino and to bring threw the skin folds and stuff, this is my final image.
I dont feel this is my best peice but with a bit of practice i may get the levels and the proportions right, its still a great effect which i would deffinatly use in the future with projects i would like to try to do it to a human skin , i enjoyed doing this task and learnin to use liquify , it is a handy tool to use i nthe future and yet again i feel like iv learnt a new skill today, here below is an image of a human face with lepard skin as part of my experimental testing,
This was purly experimental but i am quite happy with the result but it is a lil amature looking but over all it doesnt look to bad i had fun doing it and i feel the skills i learnt helped me do this experimental peice.
